Wertblick

Roof-coating companies clean and repaint existing tiles. A local company owner told me how hard it was to help customers picture the result. I built Wertblick around that conversation: a sales rep takes a photo, chooses a roofing colour and shows the customer their own house with the new roof.

How it works

I split the image work between two models. OpenAI Vision identifies the building, roof type and colours; nano-banana through fal.ai edits the roof. I also added a VAPI voice mode so the rep can ask for a colour while showing the tablet to the homeowner.

From hackathon to product

I started it for the Modern Stack hackathon and continued afterwards. To support sales teams, I added organisations, invitations, usage credits and billing through Autumn. QR-code flows and white-label theming let a company use it during customer visits. The app is live at wertblick.ai; I have been discussing pilots with two roofing companies.
